- How many words can I put in a word search?
- Up to 30 words per puzzle. Longer word lists work best with a bigger grid size so every word has room to fit.
- Can I include an answer key?
- Yes. Check "Include answer key page" before generating and a second, highlighted answer sheet will be added after the puzzle when you print.
- What happens if a word doesn't fit on the grid?
- Any word that can't be placed is listed with a strikethrough in the word bank and noted in a warning message. Choose a larger grid size or shorten your word list to fit everything.
- Is this word search maker really free?
- Yes, generating and printing is completely free with no sign-up. Free puzzles include a small footer credit; a one-time purchase can remove it.
